Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Report Photo Mode

After one year reliving the events of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Layla Hassan is in New England to investigate two apparently unrelated events: the progressive strengthening of the geomagnetic field (a phenomenon that causes an eternal Northern Lights) and the discovery of the body of a 9th century Viking warrior, dating back two centuries before the Norse presence in America. Layla decides to relive the memories of the Viking warrior through the Animus, assisted by the two Assassins Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane. From here starts the story of Assassin's Creed Valhalla which tells the story of Eivor head of the Raven Clan

Activate Photo Mode: L3 + R3

Camera freedom: vote 7

First of all it must be said that we have 2 well-defined screens, even if not visible. The first is for framing adjustments (approach, rotation, shift) and the other is for shooting settings adjustment. Sometimes the camera is more of an obstacle than a real tool. Approaching to see details or details we must be careful because the subject often disappears: we cannot get too close. In the end we fail to get to the bottom of certain aspects.

Landscapes are small but beware, little secret, the crow will allow you to reach much greater distances so use it a lot even if it is difficult to maneuver.

Camera adjustment: absent

A big lack the possibility of being able to verticalize the shot.

Granted a small maximum angle of 45 ° maximum.

Aperture and focus adjustment: vote 8

The focus, created with a real viewfinder, and the use of depth of field create the adjustment in a simple and precise way. The subjects as well as the details are precisely three-dimensional in the adjustment and the viewfinder makes our work easier. For someone who is experimenting for the first time it is a great tool to learn.

Ability to change the character: absent

Eivor should be positioned as you prefer during the game. It is only possible to decide the choice of putting on or taking off the headgear. It is not even possible to remove or put the character.

Brightness and contrast adjustments: vote 6

The adjustments are based on the overall brightness of the shot in fact by increasing or decreasing you will notice that it does not adjust optimally. The whites and blacks have no significant changes in fact it is not possible to take shots with neutral backgrounds.

Filters: vote 5

We have 8 Filters that you can manage but I advise you to adjust the shot as you prefer. Filters are a way for lazy players to not change anything and insert pre-made adjustments. For the more experienced it is obviously not a system that I recommend you to adopt to speed up your work.

Frames: vote 7

We have 9 frames to use that could give you some good ideas including some very interesting ones. Unfortunately my rating is lowered because there is no ultrawide option that I consider important in a photo mode.

Logo: vote 6

We have 4 types of logos but they are inserted in the frames where it is not possible to change any settings.

The photomode of Assassin's Creed Valhalla has unfortunately remained the same as the previous titles. The graphics sector will always give us wonderful shots even for those who are not experts for its wonderful scenarios. The adjustments have lagged behind.

Be careful when exporting photos because colors and exposures change a lot.
